The only free credit report is from this site: http://www.annualcreditreport.com
For ways to help prevent identity theft: http://www.ftc.gov and can click 'identity theft' or such.
You can go on this website to get your free credit report and then sign up for a free trial to get your free score. There really isn't a place where you can get a free score so you might have to sign up for a trial or keep it for a year or something. I got this website from a credit consolidation company and I used it so I know it's legit! hope this helps!
